Job summary

Innov8 Digital Media is seeking experienced Independent Contractor Remote Pilots based in the UK to perform unmanned aerial missions for clients. You will own and operate professional-grade drones, ensuring compliance with UK aviation law and insurance requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a UK CAA A2 CofC (GVC preferred), have commercial drone experience, and can work autonomously within our CORE project management system to deliver high-quality data and imagery on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current UK CAA A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC).
• Proven experience operating drones commercially in the UK.
• Strong practical understanding of UAS technology, flight planning software, and UK air law.
• Ability to work within CORE project management system for coordination.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must own and maintain professional-grade drone equipment for commercial work.
• Must provide EC 785/2004 compliant commercial drone insurance.
• Reliable transportation for client locations.

Responsibilities

• Execute unmanned aerial systems (UAS) missions to acquire data and imagery for clients.
