Job summary

Plexus is expanding its UK Defence footprint and seeking a Business Development Manager to hunter high-value opportunities and expand our customer base across MoD, primes, and aerospace networks. The role is remote in the UK with a focus on strategic deal-making and growth within a high-visibility team.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and proven sales or business development experience in or related to the UK Defence/Aerospace sector, plus SC or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; track record in sales or business development preferred.
• Experience or exposure to UK Defence/Aerospace sector is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify high-value opportunities in UK Defence; build a target account list.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing to convert requirements into solutions.
• Develop relationships across MoD, Tier 1 Defence Primes, and key industry stakeholders.
• Apply long-cycle sales methodologies to uncover pain points and drive value-based selling.
