Job summary

Flix Interactive Ltd in the UK is seeking a talented Concept Artist to help develop the visual identity and worlds of our games, working with Art and Design teams to bring ideas to life. You will create concept art for characters, environments, props and other assets, building a strong visual foundation for development.

The role requires a solid portfolio, excellent artistic fundamentals, and familiarity with Photoshop, Blender, and Unreal Engine 5.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of concept art across characters, environments and props.
• Excellent understanding of composition, form, colour, lighting and anatomy.
• Experience with AAA game pipelines and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, vehicles and other game assets.
• Explore and communicate visual ideas through sketches, paintovers, mood boards and polished concepts.
• Work closely with Art, Design and other disciplines to translate gameplay and creative ideas into visual designs.
• Iterate on concepts based on feedback while maintaining visual quality and consistency.
• Research and develop visual references appropriate to the game’s setting, themes and artistic direction.
• Clearly communicate and present ideas to both artistic and non-artistic team members.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of a game’s visual style and player experience.
