Job summary

AES Sustainability Ltd in the UK is seeking a Sustainability Consultant with TM59 Overheating experience to deliver overheating assessments for major residential developments. This remote role supports Part O compliance and sustainability objectives.

The successful candidate will use DesignBuilder, work with clients and the design team, and manage a busy schedule, delivering high-quality consultancy and reports for planning and development stages.

Qualifications

• Be conversant with UK Building Regulations, especially Part O, and aware of Part L interactions.
• Demonstrable experience of using DesignBuilder software.
• Able to communicate with clients effectively via telephone, email and in person.
• Good numerical and analytical skills; strong English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide TM59 overheating assessments using DesignBuilder to ensure Part O compliance.
• Manage projects with planning and tracking against deadlines, coordinating inputs and escalating issues.
• Engage with clients and design teams to meet sustainability requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prepare high-quality consultancy reports at land purchase and planning stages.
