Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking experienced Test Analysts to join the Test Team. You will plan, design and execute high-quality manual testing activities to support development and delivery of the Trust’s key systems.

This role is primarily home-based with occasional LTHT attendance, and offers opportunities to reduce clinical risk and improve patient safety through robust testing. Reporting to the Programme Test Manager, you will collaborate with project teams, business analysts

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels
• Experience of mobile testing and cross browser testing
• In-depth understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• A good team player, with the ability to work flexibly in a diverse and demanding environment to meet the evolving needs of the department
• Hands-on experience of logging, tracking defects from open to closed using Test/Defect Management Tools
• Substantial demonstrable experience of working with Agile/SCRUM environment
• Knowledge of JIRA
• Certified tester – ISTQB Foundation level

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute high-quality manual testing activities to support development, enhancement and delivery of key systems.
• Work with project teams, Business Analysts, Developers and stakeholders to ensure changes are thoroughly tested and meet requirements before release.
• Contribute to reducing clinical risk and ensuring patient safety through reliable, quality testing.
• Collaborate with the Test Team to ensure rigorous testing standards and continuous improvement.
