Job summary

Smart4Sciences is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in nutraceutical and speciality ingredients across the UK and Europe. You will combine technical insight with commercial leadership, engaging customers, partners and internal teams to expand the business unit.

The role offers autonomy to shape strategy, regular interaction with senior leadership, and opportunities to travel across the UK and EMEA while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in technical B2B sales within nutraceuticals or ingredients.
• Strong understanding of raw materials, applications and customer needs.
• Degree in Chemistry or related field; MSc/PhD preferred for deeper theory.
• Proven revenue growth and ability to close complex deals.
• Experience using CRM/ERP to manage opportunities and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development across nutraceutical, food and speciality ingredients.
• Identify and secure opportunities across UK and Europe.
• Maintain relationships with customers, distributors and partners.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and account management.
• Analyze market trends and contribute to commercial strategy.
• Deliver technical and commercial proposals and presentations.
