Qualifications

• Strong professional copywriting or editorial experience.
• Excellent written English with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to write naturally about complex technology and business topics.
• Strong research skills and ability to distinguish credible information from generic online content.
• Understanding of SEO and how search intent influences content.
• Familiarity with AI-powered search and how content is discovered and referenced by LLMs.
• Ability to adapt tone across articles, website copy, case studies and social media.
• Comfortable developing opinions and original angles rather than simply rewriting existing information.
• Interest in startups, technology, AI and the future of work.
• Highly organised, autonomous and comfortable working directly with founders.

Responsibilities

• Write long-form articles and guides around technology hiring, engineering, AI and startups.
• Develop original, research-driven content designed for both traditional and AI-powered search.
• Write and optimise website and landing page copy.
• Develop client case studies that clearly communicate challenges, outcomes and delivery.
• Create newsletters, social media posts and other thought leadership content.
• Research industry developments, market data and emerging technology trends.
• Interview founders, technical leaders and other subject-matter experts where required.
• Work closely with SEO to incorporate search intent and target topics naturally into content.
• Maintain a consistent Yotewo tone of voice across different channels.
• Edit and improve existing content for clarity, originality and performance.
• Turn complex technical and commercial subjects into content that founders and business leaders can understand.
