Job summary

Just Won't Die is seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our Cambridge-based team on an exciting new IP for console and PC. You will bridge art and programming, optimize pipelines, and prepare assets to run at high visual fidelity.

The ideal candidate has shipped at least one AAA title, strong knowledge of art and animation pipelines, and proficiency in Mel/Python scripting, shader work, and Unreal Engine. We embrace remote collaboration while staying connected with the studio.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating art and animation work.
• Familiarity with game systems and development process.
• Scripting skills in Mel/Python.
• Shader development experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaising between artists and programmers to understand needs.
• Researching and developing technical tools for the project.
• Assisting in asset performance and validation.
• Solving technical issues during development.
• Developing tools and pipelines to support art quality and efficiency.
• Ensuring art runs at full visual resolution.
