Remote Supplier Relations Manager – UK Transport Network

Job summary

CMAC Group is hiring two experienced Supplier Relations Managers to strengthen and grow our network of coach and bus operators across the UK. Two regional roles are available with flexible working; office-based or remote options with regular field engagement 2–3 days per week, principally in the North of England and Scotland.

You will own supplier relationships, drive performance and compliance, coordinate with Operations, Commercial and Planning, and ensure capacity aligns with demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supplier Relationship Management, procurement, vendor management or transport operations.
• Proven experience managing supplier networks and external partnerships.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and SLAs.
• Experience managing supplier onboarding and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across the assigned region.
• Act as the primary point of contact for supplier engagement and relationship management.
• Conduct regular supplier reviews, meetings and performance discussions.
• Promote collaborative partnerships that support operational and commercial objectives.
• Represent CMAC professionally in all supplier interactions.
• Support long term supplier retention and engagement strategies.
