Martin Veasey Talent Solutions is seeking a Transport Manager, Multi-Site to lead a Cambridgeshire operation with regular travel to centres in the East of England and North West. The role demands turning transport into a commercial operation with clear accountability for cost and margin.

You will integrate transport across three centres, manage subcontract hauliers, and align planning, standards and reporting. A strong commercial mindset and CPC are essential.

Qualifications

• CPC Transport Manager certification and willingness to be named on the operator licence.
• Experience in managing subcontract hauliers and negotiating rates.
• Strong understanding of transport economics and cost/margin control.

Responsibilities

• Run transport as a commercial operation, accountable for cost and margin.
• Integrate transport across three operating centres for consistent planning and reporting.
• Select, negotiate with and manage subcontract hauliers to meet service standards.
• Lead planning and administration teams and engage with customers directly.
• Maintain compliance with drivers' hours, tachographs and maintenance records.
• Be named on the operator licence and uphold a clean compliance record.
