Job summary

Exchange Street Claims ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager (Subsidence) to work from home and cover the North London area. You will manage repairs, plan pre‑contract meetings and ensure H&S and CDM compliance across projects.

Ideal candidates have subsidence or loss adjusting experience, knowledge of construction methods, and strong communication and negotiation skills to deliver high-quality client service while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Prior subsidence and loss adjusting experience.
• Experience with construction and repair methods.
• Working knowledge of relevant legal, H&S and regulatory matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduling of repairs in line with repair strategy.
• Plan and conduct pre-contract meetings.
• Ensure H&S and CDM obligations are met by all parties.
• Validate variations in accordance with procedures.
• Manage and report on claims during repair phase.
• Record reportable incidents following guidelines.
• Identify and vet new contractors to support operational continuity.
• Conduct contractor audits to assess suitability and competence.
• Update all relevant information on our database timely and accurately.
• Monitor effective cost management throughout repair phase, utilising Symbility tool.
• Provide support for engineering, upskilling to the engineering role when required.
• Any other reasonable duties requested by your manager.
