Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive value through strategic procurement. The role focuses on indirect services and technology goods, requiring strong market analysis, contract management, and negotiation skills.

You will operate in a fully remote setting, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to optimize spend and supplier performance. A 5+ year track record in strategic sourcing and blunt attention to cost reductions is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Proven success negotiating complex contracts and cost savings.
• Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with indirect services and tech procurement.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficient in e-sourcing tools and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing plans for indirect spend including IT hardware, software, and services.
• Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify best partners.
• Lead negotiations for contracts with favorable terms and risk mitigation.
