Job summary

Haven is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to join our Product Technology function. This remote-first role involves working with engineering teams to design, implement and support scalable, reliable systems across CI/CD, observability and database reliability.

You will shape deployment strategies, own incident response and disaster recovery, and actively use AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity. Occasional travel to Hemel Hempstead office or Haven parks may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud and reliability engineering experience.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and release strategies.
• Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, incident response and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure engineering from design through implementation, improving productivity and delivery velocity.
• Design and improve CI/CD processes and pipelines using Git Actions for high-quality releases.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues with developers to unblock delivery.
• Own monitoring, tracing and observability to quickly diagnose issues.
• Drive database reliability across relational and non-relational estates including RDS, Oracle, MS SQL, OpenSearch.
