Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised basic Medical Degree.
• Full GMC Registration with or recognised equivalent.
• Grade ST3+.
• Considerable experience in general adult psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Support the MDT in timely completion of specialised clinical assessments for people referred to SGS.
• Provide medical input to MDT discussions for allocation of treatment pathways.
• Contribute to pharmacological treatment pathways and prescription management.
• Act as professional liaison for management of service users referred to SGS under secondary mental health services.
• Undertake brief psychological treatments under supervision where appropriate.

Education

Recognised basic Medical Degree

Full GMC Registration

Grade ST3+
