Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for a 6-month remote contract in the UK. You will design and deliver scalable, cloud-based data solutions for enterprise clients, leading discovery sessions and shaping solution design.

The role focuses on secure, scalable data architectures using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, with close collaboration across engineering teams and a strong emphasis on Data Governance and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect or senior technical lead.
• Strong background delivering cloud-based data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of distributed architecture, enterprise data platforms and Data Governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery sessions and shape solution design.
• Design secure, scalable data architectures using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Work closely with engineering teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, oversee Proof of Concepts, and promote Data Governance best practice.
