Job summary

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with up to 4 years PQE to join the Property Recoveries team on a permanent basis. The role is claimant-focused, handling property damage recovery claims arising from perils like fire, flood and escape of water.

You will manage a varied caseload from pre-litigated to litigated matters, with opportunities to develop expertise and advance within a supportive firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with Litigation Rights.
• Interest in insurance property damage recoveries and contract/tort principles.
• Strong communication, client relationships and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a claimant-based Property Recoveries team.
• Handle pre-litigated and litigated property recovery claims.
• Investigate liability and negotiate quantum and settlements with third parties.
• Gather witness statements and liaise with parties to obtain documentation.
• Instruct Counsel and experts and progress claims to trial when needed.
• Support marketing and business development within the team.
