DAC Beachcroft LLP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solicitor or CILEX Litigator with 0-4 years PQE to join our Property Recoveries team on a permanent, remote basis. The role focuses on claimant-based property damage recoveries across perils such as fire, flood, impact and water escape; you will develop expertise and progress cases through to trial while liaising with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Solicitor or CILEX Litigator with 0–4 years PQE.
• Interest in insurance property damage law.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Work within a Property Recoveries team; predominantly claimant based.
• Investigate liability on general recoveries claims (escape of water, flood, fire, etc.).
• Handle own caseload; negotiate quantum and settlement with third parties.
• Obtain witness statements and draft letters of claim; progress files to trial.
• Support marketing and business development activities.
• Ensure compliance with billing and credit control; manage files financially.
• Aim to meet annual target of 1440 chargeable hours.
