Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers in London for a remote, hourly contract role to evaluate, rank, and refine AI-generated code. You will ensure solutions are correct, efficient, idiomatic, and production-ready across languages.

Bring 3+ years of software development experience and a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms. You’ll work independently on flexible, 10–40 hour/week schedules with global impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional development experience
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go or Rust
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms and complexity
• Deep understanding of software design principles and clean code practices
• Experience with code review and articulating reasons for decisions
• Clear, concise written communicator and independent worker

Responsibilities

• Review and rank AI-generated code across multiple languages and domains
• Evaluate code for correctness, efficiency, readability, maintainability, and best practices
• Identify bugs, anti-patterns, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs
• Write detailed, structured feedback explaining why one solution is better
• Refine and improve AI-generated code to production-level standards
• Provide rankings to help AI models learn what good code looks like
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
