Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Supervisor (Scottish Power authorised) to lead on-site activities across the UK, ensuring cost-effective, safe delivery of project milestones. You will coordinate with the Project Manager, manage subcontractors and liaise with customers and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in construction and/or installation roles.
• Understanding of transmission regulations and current HSE legislation; Scottish Power authorised.

Responsibilities

• Plan on-site activities with Project Manager and coordinate resources, targets and safety requirements.
• Lead all on-site activities to ensure start-up, construction, testing and commissioning meet specs, schedule and safety standards.
• Represent the project on site and build strong relationships with customers and local stakeholders.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and installation of equipment; coordinate RAMS with health & safety plan.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure quality and progress to the delivery date.
• Report regularly on site activities, HSE, quality and cost to the Project Manager.
