Job summary

PWHytek Ltd is recruiting Senior and Principal Engineers on a contract basis to support a major nuclear programme. Roles cover Mechanical, Process and EC&I disciplines, with strong uranium enrichment, plant design or commissioning exposure.

The position offers fully remote work with occasional site visits and long-term contract opportunities. Successful candidates will join multidisciplinary teams in a highly regulated environment, delivering design solutions, engineering calculations and

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I), or a related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience operating at Senior or Principal Engineer level.
• Strong experience in at least one of: Uranium enrichment, Nuclear plant design, Plant commissioning.
• Experience delivering engineering solutions within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering and design solutions for complex nuclear facilities.
• Support plant design activities across all project phases.
• Provide commissioning support and technical input during plant start-up and operational readiness.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards, safety requirements and regulatory expectations.
