Job summary

PWHytek Ltd is seeking Senior and Principal Process Engineers to support a major nuclear programme on a contract basis. The role focuses on uranium enrichment, plant design and commissioning, with remote-working options.

As part of multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver engineering solutions, perform design calculations, and contribute to commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with nuclear standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Process Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience at Senior or Principal Engineer level.
• Experience in uranium enrichment, nuclear plant design, or plant commissioning.
• Experience in regulated nuclear sector or similar industry.
• Excellent communication in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering and design solutions for complex nuclear facilities.
• Support plant design activities across all project phases.
• Provide commissioning support and technical input during plant start-up and operational readiness.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards, safety requirements and regulatory expectations.
