Job summary

Hays is seeking an Interim Senior Procurement Business Analyst for a respected public sector and not-for-profit organisation. This predominantly remote assignment includes occasional travel for stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and key programme milestones.

You will work with procurement, finance and operational stakeholders to map current processes, analyse spend, build segmentation models and design recommendations that support future procurement development and service enhancement.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement knowledge and a background working within public sector, higher education, not-for-profit, regulated or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of public procurement regulations and governance.
• Excellent business analysis and process mapping capabilities.
• Strong experience gathering requirements and facilitating workshops.
• Advanced analytical skills, including spend and data analysis.
• Experience documenting current and future-state processes.
• Contract discovery, contract management or supplier management exposure.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Strong reporting, documentation and presentation skills.
• Experience of procurement systems, digital procurement tools, service design or AI-enabled solutions would be advantageous.
