Job summary

Capita PLC is recruiting a Senior Forecasting and Performance Analyst to lead forecasting, capacity planning and workforce modelling for the HAAS contract. The role is home-based and requires data-led insights to optimise staffing and resource use.

You will work with Operations, Finance and Project teams to ensure robust plans, manage variances, and drive improvements in efficiency and planning accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in forecasting, workforce planning, or performance analysis in an operational setting.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, capacity modelling, and service level dynamics.
• Proficient in Excel for large data analysis.
• Analytical with experience applying structured modelling techniques.
• Experience with SLAs, KPIs, and performance frameworks.
• Experience in a Workforce Management (WFM) environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce short, medium and long-term workforce plans to support operational demand and resource requirements.
• Analyse performance, demand and capacity data to provide insight and recommendations that support business decisions.
• Investigate forecast variances and identify root causes to improve planning accuracy.
• Support impact modelling and scenario planning for operational changes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Projects to ensure robust and aligned plans.
• Identify risks to service delivery and provide data-led mitigation recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and resource utilisation.
