Job summary

Capita Growth is recruiting an experienced Senior Business Development Executive to win opportunities in the education sector, particularly with schools and multi-academy trusts. You will travel to client sites across the Midlands and central regions, visiting 2–3 times per month, and develop credible relationships with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience working within, or closely alongside, the education sector, with a strong understanding of schools, multi‑academy trusts or other trust‑led education organisations.
• A genuine passion for sales and business development, demonstrated by building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and identifying commercial opportunities.
• The confidence and credibility to engage senior stakeholders across schools and trusts, ask effective questions and present solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop business development opportunities across the education sector, focusing on schools and trusts.
• Identify needs and build credible relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities through market scanning, customer insight, referrals, and outreach via calls, email, Teams and in-person.
• Lead client conversations and showcase CPS products, leveraging collateral and subject matter experts.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing schools and trusts to uncover growth opportunities including upsell/cross-sell.
• Own opportunities from qualification through to handover, coordinating internal stakeholders for a consistent experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CPS products and education landscape to position solutions confidently.
