Placements24 client in telecommunications seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role across time zones. You will design and automate CI/CD pipelines, build IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or software engineering with a focus on automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their services.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote-working capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration for distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of telecommunications software.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and manage Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Automate system administration tasks, monitoring, and alerting using scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Ensure security and compliance of infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and improve performance.
• Monitor system performance and address bottlenecks or failures.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for infrastructure and deployment strategies.
• Champion DevOps best practices and collaboration.
