Job summary

Noir Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a fully remote role. You will own the data platform end-to-end, defining data models, security, and governance to support AI agent-driven data products.

The ideal candidate has deep SQL skills (SQL Server/Azure SQL), strong Python (PySpark), and experience with Databricks, Synapse or Fabric, plus Power BI semantic modelling. A background in data security and Agile delivery is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL/T-SQL on SQL Server or Azure SQL.
• Experience with data modelling, governance and security.
• Proficient Python for data engineering and PySpark notebooks.
• Familiarity with AI agent-based data tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform end to end and set modelling standards.
• Design data products, contracts and guardrails for AI agents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure data security and compliance in engineering context.
