Job summary

Alexander Associates is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead civil design activities on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role is fully remote within the UK, supporting a long-term contract with a Tier 1 contractor.

Expect to deliver buildable, robust designs while coordinating with Process, Mechanical, EICA, Structural and Digital teams. You will mentor junior engineers, review outputs for quality and liaise with clients to ensure compliance with standards and

Qualifications

• Experience in civil design for water and wastewater facilities.
• Ability to produce and review calculations, reports, specs and drawings.
• Knowledge of safety, sustainability, constructability and life-cycle costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design tasks and packages to standards, budgets and programmes.
• Develop designs, layouts and technical documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to support project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates within the team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, discipline leads and site teams.
