Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in civil engineering design within water/wastewater/utilities or similarly regulated environments.
• Good understanding of civil principles for treatment works, pumping stations and related infrastructure.
• Experience producing and reviewing civil calculations, reports, specs, drawings and design documentation.
• Ability to develop practical, buildable, cost-conscious civil solutions considering safety and whole-life cost.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and supporting project delivery.
• Experience leading, checking or mentoring engineers in civil or related disciplines.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution; Chartered or working toward Chartership.

Aufgaben

• Lead civil design tasks and packages to agreed standards, budgets and programmes.
• Develop civil designs, calculations, layouts, specifications and technical documentation for water and wastewater projects.
• Produce cost-effective solutions considering constructability, safety and whole-life costs.
• Review and assure civil design outputs for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate civil design with Process, Mechanical, EICA, Structural, Digital and Commissioning teams.
• Identify and manage technical risks and opportunities for optimisation.
• Support design of civil infrastructure including reinforced concrete, drainage, pipelines, earthworks and site development.
• Mentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices and share knowledge across the team.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
