Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup in the UK is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer for a 6-month remote contract (with occasional office collaboration). You will design and build AI-native applications that automate and enhance security and SDLC processes, using Python and modern AI frameworks.

You'll work in a skilled team to deploy AI solutions on AWS, Bedrock, LangGraph and LangSmith, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive best practices across development, testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing software applications in Python.
• Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered applications.
• Good understanding of agentic AI frameworks, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI application design patterns.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including application architecture and design, CI/CD pipelines, testing and deployment best practices, and secure software development principles.
• Ability to contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing AI-native applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Building intelligent, agent-based solutions that automate and optimise security and software engineering processes.
• Developing scalable solutions leveraging AWS, Bedrock, LangGraph and LangSmith.
• Contributing to solution design and technical decision-making within an established architecture.
• Collaborating with engineers, security specialists and stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Driving engineering best practices across application development, testing and deployment.
• Supporting the continuous evolution of our AI capabilities through research, experimentation and innovation.
• Contributing to backlog refinement, technical planning and delivery activities.
