Job summary

Mythwright in the UK is seeking a Senior 3D Generalist Artist to join a small multidisciplinary team and build modular environments, props, and character work for a Simulation Game.

You will implement assets in Unreal Engine, ensure materials and naming are correct, and contribute to gameplay experiences beyond art. This role is fully remote within the UK and Europe, with a focus on speed, collaboration, and high-quality visuals.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience with autonomous work and ability to take high-level direction.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to solve problems across disciplines.
• Understanding of modular environment creation, props, and character/creature work.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine and asset integration in-engine.

Responsibilities

• Create game-ready art focusing on modular environments, props, set dressing, and characters/creatures.
• Implement assets in Unreal Engine with correct materials, prefabs, and naming conventions; fix art issues in-engine.
• Contribute to the game experience beyond art, participate in playtests, and help identify risks early.
