Job summary

Panoramic Associates is partnered with a multi-academy Trust to appoint an experienced SEND Inclusion & Funding Specialist to provide operational support across London and the South East based schools.

The role focuses on reducing demand on schools around EHCP consultations, SEND provision and funding, working closely with Headteachers and SENCOs to secure appropriate support and to challenge Local Authorities where funding does not reflect need.

Qualifications

• Experience working with EHCPs, SEND provision and LA funding.
• Ability to challenge Local Authorities and advocate for schools.
• Multi-school/Trust leadership experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support schools with EHCP consultations and SEND-related processes.
• Challenge and negotiate with Local Authorities around all aspects of SEND funding, including EHCP/top-up, high-needs and early years funding.
• Monitor SEND expenditure and support schools with effective use of funding.
• Provide expert operational advice to Headteachers and SENCOs.
• Identify and resolve SEND provision and funding issues across the Trust.
