Connect2Dorset is recruiting for a SEND Provision Case Worker to support Dorset Council’s SEND Service. The role focuses on EHC needs assessments and EHC Plan reviews for children and young people aged 0-25 with SEN.

You will work within statutory frameworks, collaborate with SEND Leads and Managers, and help manage casework and data to help deliver high-quality outcomes. The position is temporary with remote working.

Qualifications

• Experience with statutory regulations and SEN policy.
• Ability to learn SEN legislation to perform the role effectively.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication under pressure.
• Flexibility to manage fluctuating workloads to meet deadlines.
• Good numeracy and written literacy skills.

Responsabilités

• Process EHC needs assessment requests and collate relevant advice.
• Provide accurate, timely information to parents, professionals and panels.
• Co-facilitate meetings with young people, parents and schools.
• Liaise with schools, colleges and other services to support SEND.
