Fin is transforming customer service through AI-powered solutions and is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure our AWS environments and production systems. You will design secure cloud architectures, implement protective and detective controls, and drive incident response coordination with engineering teams.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC practices, AI-assisted security tools, and collaboration with infrastructure teams to evolve security standards across Fin’s platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud security, security engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience securing and operating production AWS environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and attack techniques.
• Experience building or operating detection, monitoring, or threat detection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS.
• Build and maintain protective and detective controls for visibility into threats.
• Develop detection engineering capabilities to identify attacker behavior and speed up response.
• Lead cloud security investigations and incident response with engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and coordinate containment and recovery during incidents.
• Develop automation to improve scalability and reliability of security controls.
• Embed security into cloud platforms and IaC workflows.
• Develop and improve cloud security standards, guidance, and best practices.
