Job summary

You will design and build scalable microservices, leverage Akka, Cats, and related frameworks, and collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams.

This contract runs for six months and offers a fully remote UK-based role with a competitive daily rate outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Scala-based applications in production environments.
• Strong FP principles and scalable REST/microservice design.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala.
• Build scalable microservices and distributed systems.
