SF Partners in the UK is seeking a skilled Scala Developer to join an international software house on a remote basis. You will work on greenfield, highly scalable solutions used worldwide to deliver critical infrastructure, with enterprise‑level experience a plus.

You'll join a collaborative, improvement-focused team, with opportunities to upskill in automation and containerisation, and a clear progression path. The role offers long-term remote/hybrid working and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least three years commercial Scala programming experience.
• Strong experience with frameworks such as Akka and Play.
• Relational experience with PostgreSQL; also MongoDB and NoSQL.
• RESTful API design and integration experience.
• Solid unit testing using ScalaTest or similar.
• Experience with TDD/BDD environments.
• Containerisation experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Awareness of cloud technologies is desirable.
