Job summary

Copello is seeking a System Software Engineer to join a dynamic scale-up focused on post-quantum decryption technologies. Mostly remote with occasional London/Southwest site trips.

You will design and develop system software for RISC-V based platforms, contribute to OS, firmware, and drivers, and collaborate with a skilled team on complex projects. Qualifications include Linux kernel development, C/C++/Rust, RISC-V and embedded, with experience building real-time software.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing system software for embedded/RT systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Rust and Linux kernel development.
• Experience with RISC-V based platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system software for RISC-V based systems.
• Maintain software stacks (OS, firmware, drivers).
• Participate in designs and architectural reviews for hardware and software.
• Enhance processes, tools and methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
