Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to support growth across residential and supported living services in the UK. You will strengthen partnerships, increase occupancy, and identify expansion opportunities, reporting to the Head of Business Development.

The role covers multiple regions with travel to client sites and commissioners. You will develop referral opportunities, manage commissioner relationships, and ensure growth aligns with service quality and

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, referrals, commissioning, account management, or occupancy-focused roles within health and social care.
• Experience building relationships with commissioners, placement teams, or health and social care stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the business development plan and growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and increased occupancy.
• Mobilise new services including residential homes and supported living schemes.
• Conduct market research on commissioning priorities, competitors, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities across regions.
