Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard in Manchester is recruiting multiple Associates for the Transactional Real Estate team. You will act as a dedicated resource to a major client, delivering leased and asset management work within a structured delivery model while using the latest tech, including AI, to drive value.

The role offers office or primarily home-based work with monthly travel to the Manchester office and initial training.

Qualifications

3+ years' PQE advising on transactional real estate in England and Wales.
Experience working for institutional landlords is desirable.
Strong client service mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience handling high-volume, fast-paced workloads in a client-facing team.
Proactive in identifying risks and providing commercially sound solutions.

Responsibilities

Act as a dedicated legal resource for a key client within a structured delivery model.
Manage your own caseload, including drafting and negotiating leases and related documents, and assisting with due diligence on acquisitions and dispositions.
Oversee transaction progress, maintain accurate matter status, and manage WIP, billing, and write-offs.
Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals on lettings and property management matters.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in client engagement activities.
Collaborate with the broader client account team to share best practices and support wider real estate transactions.
