Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Real Estate Programme Manager - Portfolio Delivery for the Midlands on a 12 months FTC. The role focuses on coordinating property transactions and programmes, acting as the in-house client-side link between internal stakeholders and external advisers and partners.

You will manage portfolio-wide lease events, drive governance, and deliver opportunities for efficiency in execution and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering commercial real estate transactions in client-side or advisory environments.
• Strong programme and project management capability with multiple workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior decision-makers.
• Commercial awareness with negotiation, financial analysis, and risk management skills.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary external advisers and outsourced partners.
• Knowledge of leases, term sheets, transaction documentation, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio delivery across lease renewals, regears, relocations, and expansions from requirement to completion.
• Translate business needs into project scopes, milestones, budgets and governance materials.
• Coordinate governance and ensure outsourced providers meet service levels and performance targets.
• Develop options appraisals and business cases with financial and operational implications.
• Coordinate inputs from advisers, lawyers, surveyors and landlords to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Maintain governance, plans, budgets and executive reporting across the portfolio.
• Support portfolio optimisation with forward-looking transaction analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and the Property Operating Model.
