Job summary

Hans Guntner (UK) Ltd. is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer for the UK & Ireland market. You will support external sales, coordinate with internal teams, and help convert technical requirements into successful project outcomes.

The role demands a Mechanical or Refrigeration engineering background, HNC or higher, and at least 3 years in sales engineering. Proficiency in MS Office and Infor ERP is preferred, with a proactive, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Background as Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineer with an HNC-level qualification or higher in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, energy and power cooling, heat pumps, CRM and project management.
• Strong MS Office and ERP systems knowledge, ideally Infor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the external sales team in preparing proposals and presentations for contacts in the UK and Ireland.
• Support the maintenance and development of existing customers through regular sales contact.
• Actively develop projects from design through to specification.
• Demonstrate selection software to customers and provide ongoing training.
• Coordinate with Group sales technical support to generate quotations and maximise face-to-face time with customers.
• Support successful order delivery by communicating project requirements to the sales technical support team.
• Maintain Salesforce records relevant to the local market.
• Provide aftersales support for claims and site operational requests.
• Report market activity to the Managing Director.
