Job summary

Cpl Life Sciences is partnering with a global biotechnology organisation to recruit a Temporary Quality Manager (GCP/GVP) based in the UK. This role focuses on quality governance, event oversight, and continuous improvement across a worldwide development function.

You will lead QA activities, manage CAPAs, analyze quality data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the Quality Management System while ensuring regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
• Experience in Quality Management, QA, or Clinical Development.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and/or GVP regulations.
• Experience with QMS, quality events, governance, and CAPA.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audits.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements and regulatory compliance with Global Development stakeholders.
• Manage quality metrics and trend reporting for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the Quality Event portfolio and provide SME support to teams.
• Lead quality data analysis, root cause investigations, and CAPA development/implementation.
• Manage Quality System Metrics, including reporting, thresholds, actions and effectiveness measures.
• Facilitate governance meetings and present QMS performance data to stakeholders.
• Coordinate procedural document reviews and impact assessments.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the organisation.
