Job summary

Cpl Life Sciences is seeking a Temporary Quality Manager (GCP/GVP) in the UK to support a global development quality function within a biotech environment. The role focuses on quality system governance, event oversight, and continuous improvement across a global organisation.

Candidates should have 6+ years in pharma/biotech, strong GCP/GVP knowledge, and experience with QMS and regulatory inspections. This is a hybrid/remote, temporary position based in the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant life sciences field.
• Experience in Quality Management, QA, or Clinical Development.
• GCP and/or GVP regulations knowledge and compliance requirements.
• Experience with QMS, quality events, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA management.
• Subject Matter Expert or Process Owner in quality functions.
• Regulatory inspections and audit readiness experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Development stakeholders to drive process improvements and regulatory compliance.
• Manage quality metrics and trend reporting to support continuous improvement.
• Oversee the Quality Event portfolio and provide SME support to teams.
• Lead quality data analysis, root cause investigations, and CAPA development and implementation.
• Manage Quality System Metrics, reporting, thresholds, actions and effectiveness.
• Facilitate governance meetings and present QM data to stakeholders.
• Coordinate procedural reviews and impact assessments.
• Support a strong quality culture across the organisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen QMS effectiveness and compliance.
