Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Property Loss Adjuster to manage a diverse caseload of domestic and commercial property claims. This remote-based role travels across the North of England to client sites 2–3 days a week, delivering fair, efficient settlements and detailed reporting.

You will assess policy coverage, liaise with insurers, policyholders, brokers and contractors, and contribute to audits while upholding high professional standards. CILA and/or CII qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience handling domestic and commercial property claims.
• Ability to assess policy coverage, liability and quantum.
• Excellent communication, organizational and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate losses and produce detailed reports.
• Manage a varied caseload of property claims.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders and contractors.
• Negotiate settlements and pursue recoveries.
• Attend client meetings and site visits.
• Maintain accurate records and support audits.
