Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Project Supply Chain Specialist in Birmingham to own the full supply chain lifecycle for high-value projects. You will work with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and align with project requirements and company standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years in project-oriented supply chain, with strong procurement and logistics knowledge and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Proven experience of 3+ years in a project-oriented supply chain environment.
• Strong procurement, logistics, inventory management and contract negotiation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for project materials and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and address deviations to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement and logistics teams to forecast material needs.
