Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Project Supply Chain Specialist to own the full supply chain lifecycle for high-value projects in the UK. You will work with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in project-oriented supply chain management, strong procurement and logistics knowledge, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in supply chain management within a project-oriented environment.
• Experience managing complex supply chains for large-scale industrial or energy projects.
• Proficiency in procurement, logistics, inventory management and contract negotiation.
• Certifications such as CIPS or APICS are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies aligned with project timelines.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation and contract management for project materials and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and cost overruns.
• Optimize logistics and transportation to ensure efficient material flow to sites.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and ethical sourcing.
• Generate regular reports on performance, cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals.
