Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Project Supply Chain Specialist in Birmingham to own the full lifecycle of project materials. You will coordinate with project teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards.

This role emphasizes risk management and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. The position requires collaboration across procurement, engineering, and logistics, with emphasis on proactive performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies aligned with project timelines.
Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for project materials and services.
Monitor supplier performance and address issues to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and logistics to forecast material needs and manage inventory.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and optimize logistics for efficient material flow.
