Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Remote Production Operations Specialist to support oil and gas activities from a fully remote position. You will monitor wells and facilities remotely, analyze performance data, and drive optimization initiatives to ensure asset integrity and efficiency.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in SCADA and production surveillance software, and strong communication for remote collaboration with field teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Petroleum or Chemical Engineering).
3+ years of experience in oil & gas production operations or related engineering role.
Proficiency with production surveillance software and data analysis tools.
Experience with SCADA systems and remote monitoring technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Remotely monitor production data from wells and facilities, identifying trends and anomalies.
Analyze operational performance metrics to diagnose issues and recommend optimization strategies.
Utilize SCADA and other remote monitoring systems to oversee asset performance.
Provide technical support to field operations teams based on remote analysis.
Assist in development and implementation of production improvement initiatives.
Prepare reports on production performance and identified issues.
