Job summary

Bettervits is a fast-growing UK nutrition brand seeking a Product Specialist to support development, organization, and compliance of our product portfolio. You will work closely with the Head of Product to maintain product information, coordinate projects, and ensure regulatory alignment across UK/EU markets.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Specialist, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, or similar in supplements/consumer goods.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience managing technical documentation and maintaining structured databases.
• Understanding of UK and EU food supplement regulations, health claims, and advertising compliance.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
• Excellent written communication to interpret technical information clearly.
• Independent worker with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation management systems.
• Proactive mindset to improve processes and create structure.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the master database of products, ingredients, formulations, certifications, and technical docs.
• Build and improve the internal product knowledge base for accuracy and accessibility.
• Manage product documentation including COAs, specs, stability data, supplier docs, claims substantiation, and compliance records.
• Support product launches by coordinating info and timelines across suppliers, manufacturers, regulators, design, and internal teams.
• Assist with product development projects and ensure milestones are delivered on time.
• Review product copy, marketing materials, packaging, and website content for UK/EU regulatory compliance.
• Help ensure product claims comply with relevant UK, EU, and advertising regulations.
• Support audits, certifications, and retailer compliance programs.
• Coordinate documentation requests from retailers, distributors, marketplaces, and regulators.
• Track regulatory developments and communicate changes to the business.
• Act as central touchpoint for product-related information across the business.
