Found Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Technical & Compliance Manager to lead the technical compliance function for a premium health and wellness brand. You will own the QMS, review SOPs, and ensure UK food supplement compliance across product development and marketing.

Role involves cross‑functional collaboration with NPD, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain, plus supplier audits and certifications. Attractive salary with discretionary bonus and site‑based work.

Qualifications

• A degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Law, Business or a related subject.
• 3–5 years of compliance experience within food, supplements, nutraceuticals or regulated FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of UK food supplement and labelling requirements.
• Knowledge of FSA and EFSA requirements.
• Experience reviewing product claims, labels and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with QMS development or management.
• Experience writing SOPs and managing CAPA or complaints.
• Exposure to standards such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, SALSA or GMP.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to make practical compliance decisions.
• Ability to work across NPD, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Technical & Compliance Manager

Location: East Sussex

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 plus discretionary bonus

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Working arrangement: Predominantly site-based initially

A fast-growing premium health and wellness brand is looking for an experienced Technical & Compliance Manager to take ownership of its technical compliance function.

The business develops and supplies a broad range of nutritional supplements and is looking for someone who can provide clear, practical guidance across regulatory compliance, product claims, labelling, quality systems and supplier standards.

This is a broad and hands‑on position with genuine influence across the business.

The role

Working closely with NPD, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain, you will ensure that products remain safe, compliant and supported by effective technical systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and continuously improving the Quality Management System

What we are looking for

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Law, Business or a related subject
• At least three to five years of compliance experience within food, supplements, nutraceuticals or regulated FMCG
• Strong knowledge of UK food supplement and labelling requirements
• A good understanding of FSA and EFSA requirements
• Experience reviewing product claims, labels and technical documentation
• Hands‑on experience managing or developing a QMS
• Experience writing SOPs and managing CAPA or complaints
• Exposure to standards such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, SALSA or GMP
• Excellent attention to detail
• The confidence to make clear and commercially practical compliance decisions
• The ability to work effectively across NPD, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain

Previous people-management experience is not essential. Technical credibility, attention to detail and the ability to take ownership are more important.
