Job summary

Morgan Philips Group is seeking a Data Protection and Privacy Legal Counsel for a 3–6 month fixed-term contract, fully remote. You will provide day-to-day privacy and data protection support, draft and negotiate DPAs, assist with DPIAs and data transfers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Role reports to the Data Protection Officer and supports the privacy team during peak demand, handling routine queries and assisting with commercial and contractual

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction
• 2–3 years' PQE in law firm/in-house
• Experience advising on privacy and data protection (UK GDPR/EU GDPR)
• Experience drafting/negotiating DPAs and data transfer agreements
• Experience supporting privacy compliance projects

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support on privacy and data protection across jurisdictions
• Draft and negotiate privacy-related contractual provisions and data processing agreements
• Support privacy governance, risk management and compliance monitoring
• Assist with data subject rights requests and privacy notices
• Keep abreast of privacy law developments and guidance
